EMLC Academy Trust’s vision is to sponsor world class primary, secondary and special academies and schools that are centres of excellence for leadership, teaching and learning and driven by the moral purpose of making a significant difference in areas where failure has been ingrained and ambitions stunted.

It began its mission in 2012 with two academies: Orchard Academy in Milton Keynes and Shepherdswell Academy, with our interventions the academy has been judged ‘good with some outstanding features’ by Ofsted in June 2014.

It also sponsors Castle Academy, Hardingstone Academy and Stimpson Avenue Academy in Northampton.  Hardingstone Academy was recently judged as good by Ofsted in September 2016.

Prince William School joined EMLC Academy Trust in September 2015, this is a secondary school in Oundle, Northamptonshire.  The new Northampton International Academy also opened in September 2016.
