We aspire to be an outstanding and high-performing all through Academy offering a strong curriculum, specialising in modern and foreign languages

September 2017

We look forward to welcoming all of our new and returning students in September.

  • Reception students join us on the 11th or 13th September (as per letter)
  • Year 1 return on the 5th September
  • Year 7 join us on the 5th September
  • Year 8 return on 6th September

As NIA enters its second academic year there are a number of exciting developments. The primary students will continue the extremely successful partnership with Castle Academy under the leadership of Lorna Beard (Principal of NIA Primary). This has been a very positive arrangement for NIA and saw excellent results for the reception students over the last academic year. The all-through nature of NIA is strengthened through the work with Castle and their support during the construction of the permanent NIA building is greatly appreciated.

The secondary students will immediately move into the purpose built facilities for this academic year. The new buildings are specifically equipped to support the curriculum which is on offer to our year 7 & 8 students. The facilities compare well to other secondary school facilities and provide an outstanding solution during a year when our permanent building will be completed.

The partnership between home and school remains essential to our success so please get in touch if you require any further information.
